From old machine to new machine: the process in 6 steps

Bring in your machine.

You bring your old machine to the workshop (a quick note on the brand/model, the issue, and any accessories).

Check-in & machine inspection

We check your machine in, carry out an initial visual inspection, and clarify your goal (repair, trade-in, or advice on a new purchase). We then assess the machine’s condition, safety and performance — for example the engine/drive, cutting system, wear parts, and the electrics/battery.

Assessment & recommendation

You’ll receive a clear assessment:

- Repair recommended / not recommended
- Estimated cost and work required
- Replacement options (matched to your needs)

Trade-in offer (if eligible)

If your machine is eligible, we’ll make you a trade-in offer and apply the value as credit towards your new purchase.

Choose your new machine & apply your trade-in credit

We advise you across brands and help you find the right new machine for your garden and how you use it. The agreed trade-in value is deducted directly from the purchase price.

Handover & ready-to-go setup

You take your new machine home — with optional handover support, basic setup, and (if needed) a start-up service.
