Rental rules

Important rental information

Before reserving a garden machine, please keep the following in mind:

Your reservation is not final immediately.
After receiving your reservation request, OVDV checks the availability of the selected machine to avoid overlapping bookings. Your rental is confirmed only after you receive confirmation from OVDV.

Collection:
Rental machines can normally be collected between 7:00 am and 9:00 am from OVDV Tuinmachines, Heirweg 74, 9270 Kalken.

Return:
For a one-day rental, the machine must be returned by 9:00 pm on the same day. For multi-day rentals, it must be returned by 9:00 pm on the final booked day.

Security deposit:
A refundable deposit of 3 × the standard daily rental price must be paid in cash when collecting the machine. Example: €50/day rental price = €150 deposit.
Bring a valid ID when collecting the machine.

Arrange suitable transport.
Your vehicle or trailer must be suitable for transporting and securing the selected machine safely. Transport of larger machines may be possible on request.

Use the machine only as intended and follow the operating and safety instructions provided.

Return the machine reasonably clean and complete, including all supplied accessories. Excessive mud, soil, grass and garden waste must be removed before return.
Normal technical cleaning and maintenance are handled by OVDV.

Report technical problems immediately.
If you notice unusual noise, vibration, smoke, leakage or damage, stop using the machine and contact Olivier. Do not attempt to repair the machine yourself.

Contact OVDV before the agreed return time. An extension is only possible after confirmation and if the machine is still available.
